I got one of these for Christmas. When I opened the package, I thought it would be another one of those gifts that gets put away and forgotten, but I decided to try it before I put it away.
As it turns out, this is one of my favorite gifts. The tails of the fish move, making them look alive. The blue light is soothing and adds to the real look of the fish. The fish are constantly swimming and really look alive. Even better, the aquarium doesn’t have to be cleaned and the fish don’t have to be fed. I love it!!
I love this type gadget, and for the last few months it has kept me company at my desk. It is pretty neat to watch and is in a way soothing. I had one and its motor burned out. I got a second on, and for the last few months it has been running fine, but again, the motor burned out. I guesstimate the first one lasted about 300 hours and the second one lasted about 375 hours. I am unsure if I want to get a third. I am thinking of getting one and trying to run it 24/7 to see if this one burns out too after 300-400 hours. It is not like I abused it, nor was it running all the time, but I am disappointed in its quality.
